Overwhelmed By Your Love

GK-Cloud of witnessesOur very dear friends,
This photograph shows how I have stored your card amongst the many loving messages on email, phone and direct to my ‘old’ ears, that I have received since September 17. They hang on the circular staircase that leads to my study upstairs. I hope to keep them there for as long as is seemly and not maudlin!
For the record this is where we hang our Christmas and Birthday Cards…it has been a not very serious bone of contention between Treena and I that she always had at least triple the number that I received! These cards now belong to us both. Your love for Treena is so clear and such a blessing. Your love for me has touched me more deeply than I can say and I continue to be moved to tears over such loving concern. I miss her greatly, there is so little of my life that I lived without knowing and loving her.
If you get our new book ‘Flash of Silver…the leap that changed my world’ you will find that, more than anything else, it is our love story and how God’s love for us both, made it all not only possible but also so utterly beautiful.
Heading upstream as I climb the stairs to the study, flanked by your love on every side…..
Graham

You and Treena are so greatly greatly loved and cherished. You have both been such a blessing to us and countless others. She is still with you in so many ways, but right now she’s busy having tea and eggs with Jesus ♥

Dear Graham, it was with great shock and sadness that I read of Treena’s passing. I had the honor of meeting you both many, many years ago at a trade show in Chicago and treasured that meeting lo these many years. Both of you exhibited such genuine warmth and kindness toward a total stranger who just wanted the opportunity to chat with you for a few minutes ( which by the way you extended to 20 minutes). Thank you again for that wonderful memory and my prayers are with you and your family during this time…may God bless you all now and in the years to come.

Dear Graham – you probably won’t remember me, but we made clothes for you, Treena and the family when you went on your sailing adventures so many years ago! When we delivered to you in London, my youngest son was with me, then aged about 4 years of age. He now lives in Prague, Cz and he heard the sad news about Treena and kindly let me know. We are so sorry that she is no longer with you in person, but be comforted, what we love about someone never dies and is always with us. She was lovely, so full of life and fun and it was great fun working with all of you, we have great memories not just of our first visit to you in Sandbanks, but also of visiting your beautiful new yacht in Poole. May God bless you and the family and keep you close to Him at this time of making so many adjustments in your lives

    with love in Him

    Graham,

I’m so sorry to hear about Treena’s passing. I’m listening to your recording of the Flash of Silver and your story is so moving. There are a few laughs going on in the background – I hope those are Treen’s…

Take care and know you are loved and appreciated!

Dear Graham, I am truly sorry to hear of your loss, but what a blessing to know that you will see her again in glory. I watched your Galloping Gourmet show as a teen and loved your recipes and wit. I followed you to Take Kerr when you developed low fat recipes. I saw you on TV when Julia Child was honored at Johnson and Wales. You are an inspiration to me, and may God bless you and keep you in His (Kerr). Thanks For The Memories till we meet in glory. Jimmy.

I just finished reading Book 1 of “Flash of Silver” and thoroughly LOVE your story, your incredible memory of details, and the education into the life cycle of the Chinook salmon paralleled with your own life journey. It’s a fascinating read and I highly recommend to all your fans and biography lovers. Bravo to you both!! I got quite a giggle from your experience in San Francisco with a Hertz rental car!!! I also enjoy your bits and side notes such as why Brits drive on the left side of the road.
