    Dear Graham Kerr,
I was absolutely blown away by the video of your presentation at Virginia Mason in Seattle on Aug. 2nd of this year. My daughter is a big fan of yours and I was watching one of your Galloping Gourmet episodes on TV today and decided to look you up online. Wow, I’m really impressed with the work you are doing. Someone once told me that you live in south Salem in Oregon. I also live in south Salem and I always see an English cottage looking house with a beautifully manicured landscape when I’m driving south from I-5 between the Kuebler Exit and Turner/Sunnyside. I’ve always imagined that it is your house. Anyways, if that is your house, I live across the freeway from you and up the hill off Liberty Road SE and I would love to have tea with you someday. My favorite tea is PG Tips, how about you?
    Your friend in Christ,
    Leslie Wiege

I am greatly appreciative of you and Treena. You’ve done so much to help people. This video is a wonderful example of that. Thank you both!

    Dear Graham

As a young person, (just now learning to cook and finding to my surprise that I am loving it) I am too young to remember you on Australian television but my father told me about you. It is great to hear how you changed your cooking ethos and your life and the way in which you are helping others.

I am normally quite cynical about motivational speakers but you are truly inspirational. Australia, like the USA, faces many challenges at this current time in terms of healthy eating, with obesity levels skyrocketing and fast food supplanting healthy, locally-grown produce for many. Thankfully, a backlash is emerging in the form of the “slow food movement.” Australia is also becoming more of a “foodie” culture now as many people are starting to appreciate quality meals more and there are a very large number of “celebrity chefs” on television, raising awareness of different cultures’ cuisines.

It is interesting to hear you refer to Presbyterians in this video as, on many websites, you are cited as being a Mennonite. It would have been fantastic had you joined a peace church after having been in the military but, nevertheless, we must each follow our own path to Christ.

Thanks again and I pray that you and your wife remain in good health.

    In Christ,

    David
