Seldom

We have two eyes that seldom see,
Two ears that seldom heed
A nose that seldom will delight,
In flowers or a tree.
We only see the outward sign
And seldom look within
We seldom seek a new idea
Thus never can begin
We seldom listen properly
We seldom have the mind
To listen to another’s cries
Or give them of our time.

Graham, I am so grateful to have Treena’s book – that you mentioned that there were some still available. What a treasure to hear you read the few that you have read here (so far). I hear her heart as it comes through yours to our ears. She gives us much to contemplate.
